Tournament Play Information
For 2020 we're rolling out a new tournament style.
We will continue with our tradition by starting the tournament with round robin game play to determine which teams will place where on the brackets. Teams will register as Casual or Competitive and be assigned to groups based on their selection then when brackets are decided we'll have two brackets classified the same way:
-
Casual Play Bracket
-
Competitive Play Bracket
We'll determine the bracket size by the number of teams signed up in each category.
Payouts will be determined by number of teams registered. 1st and 2nd place in each bracket are guaranteed a payout - 3rd place may also win a payout or a consolation prize.
Team will likely be eliminated before Bracket Play occurs depending on how well they do in round robin play. If we have 20 teams in Competitive play 4 teams will be eliminated before Bracket Play and the top 16 teams will compete for their final places. The same goes for casual play - if there are 40 teams signed up for casual play we'll run a 32 team bracket and 8 teams will be eliminated after Round Robin play is completed.
Paying your $15/person entry fee guarantees you 3 games in Round Robin play along with food and water.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE
All proceeds will go to the UW Oshkosh K9 Program and the UW Oshkosh Students Veterans Association.
UW Oshkosh K9 Program:
The K9 program was started to enhance emergency preparedness at UW Oshkosh. Officer Ben Kohlman and K9 Skylar are continuously training to search, track & detect explosives. The City of Oshkosh is known as "Event City Wisconsin" and we're not far from Milwaukee and Green Bay so K9 Skylar isn't just a resource for the UW Oshkosh community, she is a resource for the Fox Valley Region. There are only 17 explosives detection K9s in Wisconsin so your attendance and donations at our events will ensure that this program continues to be a success in our region.
UW Oshkosh Student Veterans Association:
Reintegrating into civilian life after a tour of active duty service can be a complex and difficult task. The SVA are at UW Oshkosh to ensure that students can successfully navigate those complexities. We also want students belong to a group of people who understand and can assist them with any difficulties they may face.

K9 Stuffies
For an additional $20.00 donation to the K9 Program at UWOPD we'll give you one of these stuffed canines. The canine comes with a personalized UWOPD Badge, tag and patch on the K9's vest.
